I make small figurative paintings as a means of exploring ideas of intimacy and relationships. All my paintings are made from photographs which I collect from a variety of sources. I make paintings from family snap shots and newspaper clippings and any other images that enter my life. My choices are deeply personal and intuitive and the images I choose become part of an intimate personal language.

I was born in England to American parents and have spent my life moving back and forth between the two countries. I currently live in London.
