I make small figurative paintings as a means of exploring ideas of intimacy and relationships. All my paintings are made from photographs which I collect from a variety of sources. My choices stem from contrasting feelings of unease and connection with an image. In painting a picture I attempt to embrace my own discomfort and desire equaly.
